This is the place where you can learn about user group promotion on Penguingame Studio. Here, you can make requests on promoting/demoting a user. For more info about user groups, see Special:ListGroupRights.

Rules for requests

If the nomination met the specific requirements, each nomination will be in 2 weeks of voting. If the process has enough positive votes, the user will get the rights. If the nomination has enough negative votes, it will fail.

Administrator Rules

Have at least 250 mainspace edits made.
Has made a user page.
All policies followed by the specific user.
Must have been active for at least 2 months.
If the nomination has a score of +5 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3, it will fail.

Rollback Rules

Has made at least 75 mainspace edits.
Must have been active for at least 3 weeks.
Reverts edits, and doesn't vandalize, blank, or spam.
If the nomination has a score of +4 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

Autopatrol Rules

Is active for at least 1 week.
Hasn't bit the newcomers.
If the nomination has a score of +4 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

NOTE: Autopatroller rights can also automatically granted to an invited user

Mentor Rules

Has made at least 200 mainspace edits.
Must have been active for at least 1 month.
All policies followed by the specific user.
If the nomination has a score of +4 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

Bureaucrat Rules

Has been an administrator for at least 6 months.
Has made significant contributions to this Penguingame Studio wiki.
If the nomination has a score of +4 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -2 points, it will fail.

CheckUser Rules

Has made a user page.
Is active for at least 1 week.
If the nomination has a score of +4 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

Walkthrough Editor Rules

Has made at least 100 mainspace edits.
Has made a user page.
The user has to be sent a private message on the Penguin Ice Forum containing an application. Once the user passes, they will be nominated.
If the nomination has a score of +3 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

Suppressor Rules

Has been active for at least 3 months.
All policies followed by the specific user.
The user has to be sent a private message on the Penguin Ice Forum containing an application. Once the user passes, they will be nominated.
If the nomination has a score of +3 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

Interface Admin Rules

Has made at least 250 mainspace edits.
Has been active for at least 3 months.
All policies followed by the specific user.
The user has to be sent a private message on the Penguin Ice Forum containing an application. Once the user passes, they will be nominated.
If the nomination has a score of +3 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

Rules for nominating

First of all, you must nominate a new section below either the Requests for promotion or demotion section and format it like this: === John Doe (John Doe's Administrator) ===.
Use a promotion template. Make sure to always use {{Support}} (for votes that will add 1 point), {{Oppose}} (for votes that will remove 1 point), {{Neutral}} (for votes that will not change a thing and weakly recommend to get attention), {{Comment}} (for basic comments in the nomination), {{Abstain}} (for not determining the score at the moment), and {{Unsupport}} (to revoke your own support votes to recycle it for another).
