Penguin Ice Wikis:User Promotion

This is the place where you can learn about user group promotion on Penguingame Studio. Here, you can make requests on promoting/demoting a user. For more info about user groups, see Special:ListGroupRights.

Rules for requests

If the nomination met the specific requirements, each nomination will be in 2 weeks of voting. If the process has enough positive votes, the user will get the rights. If the nomination has enough negative votes, it will fail.

Administrator Rules

1. Have at least 250 mainspace edits made.
2. Has made a user page.
3. All policies followed by the specific user.
4. Must have been active for at least 2 months.
5. If the nomination has a score of +5 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3, it will fail.

Rollback Rules

1. Has made at least 75 mainspace edits.
2. Must have been active for at least 3 weeks.
3. Reverts edits, and doesn't vandalize, blank, or spam.
4. If the nomination has a score of +4 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

Autopatrol Rules

1. Is active for at least 1 week.
2. Hasn't bit the newcomers.
3. If the nomination has a score of +4 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

NOTE: Autopatroller rights are also automatically granted to an invited user by default

Mentor Rules

1. Has made at least 200 mainspace edits.
2. Must have been active for at least 1 month.
3. All policies followed by the specific user.
4. If the nomination has a score of +4 points, they will be promoted. If the score is -3 points, it will fail.

Rules for nominating

• First of all, you must nominate a new section below either the Requests for promotion or demotion section and format it like this: === John Doe (John Doe's Administrator) ===.
• Use a promotion template. Make sure to always use {{Support}} (for votes that will add 1 point), {{Oppose}} (for votes that will remove 1 point), {{Neutral}} (for votes that will not change a thing and weakly recommend to get attention), {{Comment}} (for basic comments in the nomination), {{Abstain}} (for not determining the score at the moment), and {{Unsupport}} (to revoke your own support votes to recycle it for another).
